This is the place to apply for scholarships from Educate New Mexico! The scholarship money can be used at any school or approved tutoring service— public, private or parochial. These scholarships are being awarded to New Mexico families who are below certain income limits. If your family falls below those limits, then your child has an opportunity for a scholarship, regardless of educational achievement, race, geography, and all other respects.

The scholarships are worth $1,000 per year for students in grades K–6, and $1,500 per year for grades 7–12. Scholarships are good for four years.

There are no academic requirements, but students winning awards must then be accepted by a private or religious school and be able to pay the balance of any tuition and fees not covered by the grants. Before applying, please check the Income Limits Table (use the link below) to see if your family qualifies. Before the scholarship is awarded, incomes must be verified.
